Villa Kerta Bali,
a compound of charming Balinese styled villas located in the rural
village of Kerta which literally translates as ‘peace’
in the local dialect. Positioned to overlook the mountain in the
cool hills of central Bali, the village is only 30-minutes north-west
of Ubud, the renowned cultural pulse of the island where there are
numerous art galleries and fine dining restaurants to visit. A 20-minute
drive to the north reveals the volcanic mountain of Batur, an ideal
spot for keen trekkers or just to enjoy a pleasant lunch and admire
the scenery. Also nearby is a whitewater rafting starting point
and elephant safari park.
The people of Bali’s highlands are polite and
unassuming who go about their daily life quite oblivious to the
impact of tourism. The country side is clean and the air is crisp
with daily temperatures rarely exceeding the 28 degree Celsius range.
Perfect days continue into perfect nights. Guests fall into a peaceful
slumber with the sounds of Mother Nature; frogs croaking, crickets
chirping and the rustle of the soft breeze caressing the trees and
surrounding foliage.
The View
Each villa is orientated towards Bali’s chain of central mountains
and offers a spectacular view from every vantage point. It’s
worth rising early just to see sculptured rice terraces and towering
palms against a mountain backdrop. Discover the sense of calm that
the morning countryside projects at sunset whilst sipping a cup
of freshly brewed coffee in your personal environment. The garden
is spacious and fully landscaped with an abundance of trees, ferns
and tropical plants.
The Villa
Each spaciously appointed Balinese styled villa, complete with traditional
thatched roof work, features modern amenities and internationally
accepted home comforts. An open design concept highlights the main
living area where bedrooms are adjoined in integrated wings. Cool
terracotta flooring features throughout, except bathrooms which
are paved in natural stone. Stylish furnishings in teak and rattan
make the most of natural elements and blends harmoniously with the
seamless living plan. Each villa also incorporates a private swimming
pool and carport attached to the separate staff quarters
Kitchen Facilities
A fully equipped western style kitchen includes; water dispenser,
refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, coffee maker, coffee grinder,
juicer maker, rice cooker, toaster and complete cooking utensils
and table ware.
Entertainment
A range of home-entertainment facilities including television, DVD/VCD
player, tape/CD player and substantial library of popular films
is available.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Each villa features four spaciously appointed bedrooms each with
its own modern en-suite bathroom that includes stone floor coverings,
hot water tub/shower and garden recess.
A maid and gardener is appointed to take care of each villa while
English speaking management is available daily between the hours of
8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Transportation with or without driver, babysitting,
massage treatments and local grocery shopping are all available upon
request. Security guards patrol the entire villa compound area each
night through until daylight.

Rates valid until March 31, 2006. All rates are net, quoted in
USD and inclusive of applicable government tax, service charge,
daily breakfast for maximum 2 persons per room.
- High & Peak Season Surcharge & Conditions
No high season or peak season surcharge will be applied.
- Booking or Reservation
Reservation subject to availability and confirmation.
- Villa Capacity
We strictly observe a villa capacity policy. Please ensure that
you select the proper villa type to accommodate your family or
group. Children under 12 years old sharing with parents using
the existing bed are free of charge. Children over 12 years old
are considered adults. We do not provide extra bed for adult.
- Check in/out time
Check-in time is 02:00 PM
Check-out time is 12:00 Noon
Late check-out (day use) until 06:00 PM is free of charge and
subject to availability
- Terms of Payment
Credit Card Authorization by facsimile or 30% deposit (from total
reservation value) transferred to our IDR or USD Bank Account
at the latest by 2 weeks prior to guest arrival, will guarantee
the reservation.
- Cancellation Policy
- Without any charge 30 days before the check-in date
- Between 29 days and 15 days will be charged 50% from the total
room reservation value
- Between 14 days and 0 days will be charged 100% from the total
room reservation value
- No show will be charged 100% from the total room reservation
